The syllabus for secondary schools in Kenya (and the world over) has been revised to enable the learner apply skills acquired in school to develop mentally, morally, socially and spiritually and appreciate career opportunities that exist in the world of technology today. DemosCAD LT built around AutoCAD LT software works to equip High School Students interested in pursuing technical courses such as Architecture or Engineering with the much needed skills in AutoCAD that are critical for those joining institutions of higher learning whether universities or colleges.

The interface of DemosCAD LT is similar to that of Autodesk AutoCAD LT software-the most commonly used and preferred software for CAD students in the world. The only difference is in the functionalities; Whereas AutoCAD LT commands lets you execute your CAD tasks and ideas, DemosCAD LT on the other hand contains demonstration tools that show you how to carry out designing, annotation and drafting tasks with AutoCAD LT. Students are therefore able to use AutoCAD LT as though they are experts in AutoCAD.
